Eisriesenwelt Werfen
You have certainly not seen anything like this before: The gigantic ice figures in the world's largest ice cave in Werfen. Take the gondola to the cave portal and venture with the lanterns on the guided tour (134 meters in altitude and about 1,400 steps) in the spectacular ice world. The Eisriesenwelt is located about 30 km from the hotel.
Wagrainis Grafenberg is the nature and mountain experience world for families in Wagrain. Comfortably float up to an altitude of 1,700 m with the Grafenberg cable car, where a host of adventures await young and old: well-marked walking and hiking trails, gigantic adventure stations, magnificent views,... All stations are connected with paths suitable for strollers.
Ever since it was first sung at Christmas mass in 1818, the song "Silent Night, Holy Night" has exuded a very special magic. The text was penned by Father Joseph Mohr, who lived and worked in Wagrain from 1837 until his death. The museum is dedicated to his person and the spread of the most famous Christmas carol in the world.
